Commission Pricing
Standard pricing for various types of art requests. Prices are variable and negotiable based on the specifics of the request.
All prices are listed in US dollars and are estimates on the lower-end price range for non-commercial art in any given category.
Specific commissions may be priced higher or lower based on a number of factors.

Character & Portrait Art
Character and portrait art both focus on the live living form. The artist's personally likes to focus on that living aspect of the subjects. When it comes to character and portrait art, the artist's goal is to capture the spirit of the character, person, or pet via the use of stylization of features and body language.

Simple backgrounds (transparent, solid color, gradient, or simple patterns) are free.

Additional charges may be added for complex props or backgrounds.

Additional characters (in the same peice) are given a 15% discount.

Color may be added to a sketch or line-art style piece for a 30% upcharge.
Design & Concept Art
Design and concept art are defined as any artwork that is designed to highlight the specific design features of a character, species, object, outfit, and/or environment.

Reference sheets are only available for characters with pre-existing artwork. Characters without pre-existing artwork will be charged at a design/concept art rate.

Species concepts will be charged at a 250% higher rate than individual creature design.

Sets of 3+ outfits are eligible for a 10% bulk discount rate per additional outfit.
Background Art
Background art is any art depicting scenery for use in a multi-media project or just for general viewing. Not to be mistaken with the incidental inclusions of backgrounds in character art, background art strongly focuses on the (mostly) inanimate environment of a location.

Prices will vary based on the size of and complexity a background. The larger or more detailed a background, the higher priced it will be and vice versa.
